Tuition: $1,500 per year

Miscellaneous Fee: $150 per year.
Includes: standardized testing, lead markers, radiation monitoring, liability insurance, etc.

Textbooks: $750.00 approximate total for entire program.
Most books are purchased before the beginning of the first year; some additional texts are purchased prior to the beginning of the second year.


Additional Costs during the two years of the program:

Uniforms are required and attire is the responsibility of the student.

Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, Rubella (MMR) and 2 step TB testing are required.

CPR certification – approximately $25

Criminal background check – $10 (required by clinical education settings)

Second year application for the ARRT Registry Examination – $150

ISSRT membership – $50 (covers 2 years)

Graduation pin costs – $75 - $ 95


Financial Aid

The Bloomington-Normal School of Radiography has no grant/loan program, and does not participate in federal financial aid programs. However, most students are eligible for the Hope Tax Credit, and three scholarships for qualified second year students are offered.
